Don't shoot the messenger, but classification is based on country of origin not on ethnicity. If you can definitively declare that you're from an Asian country for the record, I think that would clear up any tagging questions.

Also, even if this isn't Western, this should be in the Doujinshi category.

Yeah thats not helpful. You can't just claim that without giving proof while your works saying western.
You only release works in English and western style and active in western dominating art sites (deviantart,newgrounds,etc)
Are there any work you released in Thai?(which you claimed in forum)

It shouldn't. It should be in "Image collection"

This has always been a bit odd. If a Japanese person moves to USA, should their art suddenly be tagged as "western"? Should the art of an American/whatever not be tagged as western anymore if they move to Japan? What if they don't even move? But they are just there on vacation? If yes... Then when should it be tagged as such? At the time of upload, or the current status of a person? If current status... then the site would have to change the "western" tag for all art done by a western artist if they one day move to Japan. If No, then peopel would have to run around trying to prove "when" an image was uploaded etc. So no... the whole system is strange. It really should be more strict:

kind of like:

Japanese person that moves to USA and become American citizen: Still not western art
Western person that moves to Japan and becomes Japanese citizen: Still not Japanese art.

Any children born by a Japanese person (with American citizenship) in the USA would be western though?
But if this is the case, then what about non Asian people that are born in Japan? They certainly are not "real" Japanese people. But if we go by that categorization, then Japanese people born USA would not be Americans? But they are.

This is why this type of categorization is difficult and silly
