The italian publisher chose to change completely the title from the original.
"Viste da molto vicino" could be translated as "Them (i.e. women) as seen from very near", with an implied sense of "examined, studied".

The original title however was "Wicked Willie's Guide to Women", and the Willie in question is ... your little companion hiding in your pants (or not, in this case, since he?/it? comes out to play and even talks).

Unfortunately, you'll lost 90% of the humour and fun, if you can't understand italian well enough :-(
