Naruto finds this highly confusing, because for him it's only been a few years after the 4th Ninja War concluded. This looks like about the time The Last movie happens (the Hashirama arm and bandage), but he hasn't cut his hair.

Also. How the fuck doesn't he recognize her? Did he not go through the trial of getting Kurama's Chakra with Kushina's help at all? In one panel he seems to recognize her eyes in page 17.

In Page 44 they obviously call her Uzumaki-sama in deference to her position as the leader of the New Whirlpool Village. But in the previous page (43) the Editor makes an obvious reference to a "next chapter: Kushina's Choice".
Is this in the same fiction canon because wtf? If it is then the two are using cover names when they were fighting and fucking together. Satsuki Uchiha and Naruko Uzumaki. No reference to Kushina, unless the translation was made incorrect on purpose. Renaming the characters of Kushina and Mikoto.
