(07/03/2022)The artist released this comic (and a couple others) for free on their store quite some time ago, but the format they were released in was a low resolution PDF. After converting the PDF to a folder of PNGs, I didn't think they were large enough/ high enough quality to upload.

So instead I tried to restore these comics as best I can. I used an AI upscaling tool to increase the size of the images without hopefully losing to much quality. This worked out well for the most part, most foreground stuff was retained nicely. However some of the background character faces blurred up a bit and most of the text became unreadable. So after this I ended up cleaning some of the details (including a few faces) and re-typesetted most of the text in the comic.

Hopefully everyone will be fine with this compromise and the fixes. I'm quite rusty at digital art, please let me know if you can think of any improvements, and since I don't mind making more. Outside of higher quality original art this is best I've got right now... I will upload the other free comics as well later. The AI upscaling worked out better for them since they're black and white, but I still intend to redo the text for them as well.

(22/03/2023)Update: In the 12 months since I uploaded this comic, PDF to PNG conversion AI tools have improved quite a bit. So now I've gone back and fixed a few panels from certain pages that were lacking in the previous upload. It's still not perfect in all places, the fixed panels are a little pixelated in places due to the upscaler, but this is probably the highest quality upload you'll find online currently.

Unfortunately since the site doesn't allow you to make a gallery version update more that twelve months later, I've had to create a new gallery and petitioned to expunge the old one. Sorry for the inconvenience. Also I'm not sure if I need to say this but; in the last year since the previous version "AI Art" has become pretty controversial, so I want to make this clear that this is not an AI art gallery. It's just an existing work upscaled to a quality which is not available elsewhere online.

Now then, on to those two other comics I said I'd upscale last year...

Thank you for being upfront about the use of AI here. Unfortunately I can still see a lot of places where the "AI" has fallen short, specifically places like the edging on the word "Fostering" in page 3, Dick's Face in page 5 panel top panel, etc etc. Just a few things here and there, but sadly there's not much that can be done unless the original artist releases high res versions.

@sbrd95 I honestly considered uploading the RAW upscaled images without the AI treatment alongside, but decided against it. Whilst there are quite a few cases where smaller details are lost in some panels, I feel like overall the AI treated version is just better for the content that counts. At the end of the day I'd feel bad uploading those pixelated RAW by itself, so the only reason to upload both would be to compare the images.

If I had the time I could probably "fix" most of the issues, even after this re-upload I've seen a bunch of things I could do better. But the problem is this solution will never be as good as just having high resolution releases from the original artist. And if a better release does come out anymore effort I make will have just been wasted.

Would liked to have seen Richard's growth as well but otherwise I really liked this!
(Side not did Richard just grown giant breasts or would there have been some gender swapping involved do we know?)
