Jacketfreak here.

I'm usually fairly open minded about my content being leaked.
I understand that not everyone can afford to support artists they like, and so they come here.

All and all. I'm ok with it (not that I have a choice anyways). And in a way, it's free publicity.

However, LoudJinn... You have been doing it at an insane rate. You post my work almost instantly and non stop.

I didn't mind it in the past, but I'm starting to get complains from my supporters and i'm actually starting to lose subs because of this.
I shame no one for coming here and looking at my content. I understand.

But there has to be a reasonable middle ground. The rate at which Loundjinn is posting these is actually starting to affect me in a negative way now.

Look, at the end of the day, I'm just a lone artist. I have no means to stop this from happening. I don't have a company with lawyers to back me up. Nor do I want to anyways.

But this is too much.

I'm not asking for the leaks to even stop. I'm asking to calm the hell down with the posting of my content.

You're being way to aggressive about it.

That's about it.

I know this probably won't change anything. But at least I've said it.

Again, I don't shame anyone for coming here and looking at my stuff. I get it.
But consider that artists can only afford to produce this content because they get support.

And if you post so much of their content so quickly that it starts to hurt that support, than bottom line is, you'll affect the artists ability to continue producing said content.

That's about it. If you enjoy my content thank you.
But also consider how this can affect an artist negatively if the leaking is too aggressive (which it is in this case).

And think about it friends if you keep doing that you take the chance that this fabulous artist could maybe one day be too affected by that and, takes some strict measure or even in the worst case have to cease from drawing..
Guess you'll just have to find some other content to leak but Jacketfreak is a very unique one.. So please consider supporting it for those who watch the gallery if you can affor it and for the uploader please consider having a talk and getting maybe to a peaceful agreement if you really like the work here.. And have respect for it

At least you are honest about it and just asking for leaks to slow down, but you still forget you and your supporters (many of which didn't know you existed and what the stuff you worked hard on looked like before they saw leaks, and they didn't learn any of this from Patreon) are feeding one of many fraudfunding (ah, the joys of subscription inception and all kinds of hidden fees) platforms when you could just benefit from the best of both worlds - free advertising and direct fan-to-creator support.

OnT and Jacob had a miracle recipe with their huge international copyright scams (individuals with malicious intents come up with the best kind of honest ideas, especially when they involve legal loopholes). You might want to ask such people to help promote and sell your sets. They'd love to lend a hand - or rather the whole arm.

Crowdfunding platforms give zero damns about content creators, much like almost any modern company. They only care about good PR, nice cashflow and a lot of people willing to part with "excess money" through irrational spending (which can lead to the death of an entire household) or (much more ethical, no deaths involved, just absurdly wealthy people doing their thing) flexing.

People who were already supporting or commissioning 30 years ago back when all that stuff didn't exist (not even PayPal - it started in 1998-1999 iirc) would be more than happy to assist on how to cut off ties with such companies and receive 100% of the money you deserve without anyone getting scammed in the process (which includes yourself as a creator). Just be responsible on how you do it, it is obviously much less secure with digital products.

Of course, if the ability to keep in touch with your supporters in a fancy tipping dreamscape straight out of an Orwellian nightmare is worth the sacrifice, then that's your call. Thanks for your work and just remember you're supposed to be an artist before you are a victim of (completely legal) schemes that totally aim to give you fame and glory and all those happy-happy thoughts about creating cool stuff.

tldr: If you feel financially threatened, leaks aren't your worst enemy. Far from it, they actually are an ally as long as you aren't producing physical goods that immediately end up online, the sub drops for digital goods mean nothing, especially with all the figures that are kept behind the curtains (or under the hood but not a fan of phallic analogies).

Took me three hours to post this comment in my current state but you are free to downvote if you feel like this was an unnecessary addition or just feel like it, really.

I apologies, but that is a very ignorant and naive way of seeing it. (When I say ignorant, I don't mean that you are wrong about your assement of sites like patreon. But of the nature of the relationship of the artists that use them.)

You can say the same about Ubereats or Amazon.

Trying to say to a ubereats or Amazon delivery person "Hey, why do you work for these abusive corporations... You should find otherways." is... and I do not say that lightly... absolute ignorance. As to the people who work for such corporations... Finding other ways is A LUXURY they cannot afford.

And here is the reality. It's not that different for artists that use these sites. You talk about commissions and other alternatives.

My friend... you clearly do not live the life of a NSFW artist if you say stuff like this. No offense.
I talk with many other artists and I can say with confidence that many would facepalm reading your words. Again, not because your assessment of sites like patreon are wrong. Just that the idea that we have "options" is absolutely NAIVE.

Do I prefer using these websites? No... I do not. As I get what you're saying.

Do I feel bad about it? I don't have the luxury to feel bad about it.
Why? Because I have very limited options.

Do not take it the wrong way, but clearly... You do not know how difficult it is for an artist (specially a NSFW artists) to turn their skill into revenue.

Yes! These websites take a big cut on our hard work. But then... why do a VAST of artists like me use them anyways?
Are we brainwashed? Are we not aware? Why not "break the chain" and work on our own account to take 100 percent of the profit.
As it ever crossed your mind that taking such a step would be EXTREMELY risky for them?

Obviously we ARE aware of the things you talk about. But the fact is... These websites are our best option to generate a safe source of income.

You make it sound as if we had plenty of alternatives to make a living out of our skill set.
I assure you (and I can SAFELY say that most fellow artists I know will agree with me on this...), We have VERY limited options.

So we don't have the luxury of "making a stand".

I do not feel like what you said was an unnecessary addition.
Nor do I disagree with your views on these websites. I just find you a bit naïve to think that we can afford to just throw it all away as if we had plenty of alternatives. When in reality we have very limited options (and with that, little to no job security). For now, we are slaves to such systems. Ain't no other way to say it.

So if you got a beef with these corporations? Fine by me.
Take it to them. Not me.

I'm not their supporter. I'm just dependent on them to make an income to take care of my dad and my dog. I will not apologies for that.

As I said, I do not shame anyone for coming here and enjoying my content.

I know that some can't afford it. I get it. Not a problem.

But don't shame me for doing what I have to do make a living out of it. And for now, using such websites is our best way to do that.
If you want me to feel bad about that. Do not waste your time. Even though I share your views to some extend. I do not have the luxury to bother with it.
