I remember when things like Daz3D, Poser, Blender and the likes came out... The "real" artists pitched the same fit we're seeing now, about how it was cheating or only used by "talentless hacks' that couldn't draw or paint... Amazing how stupid it all is in the end. Technology innovates and moves forward, but that doesn't lessen the importance or need for more classic methods of doing things, as well.

never heard of artist ranting about 3d software tho, it already exist since cg is a thing make it just another medium. Every artist i knew always says draw from refrence either 3d or photo, what you see maybe just deviantart kids mumbling. What they concern about is how the ai actually works because it must feed by the millions data without their consent. Now there was lora make it impersonating as someone become much easier that will breed another problem like what happen on new pixiv terms.

Having a bajillion AI generated images is just as bad as the damn image sets.

Tons of images with no context or story to them is just boring.

Lastly, using AI to generate realistic looking porn of people who don't consent to it (this set is less of a problem) is ethically questionable even to a mind as perverted as mine.

Also, The entire most recent section is inundated with AI generated sets constantly drowning everything else out.
It's tedious to sift through it all.
