Like good God, they thought her name was Anna Nisakimizu because they couldn't tell the difference between a "ni" in katakana and an equals sign. Using an equals sign as a separator between words or names written in katakana has been a thing for the longest time. It's less common than a middle dot •, but still pretty standard.
