@gigiriva To be fair, he didn't use Ash in his Sword/Shield doujins. Maybe those didn't perform as well or he didn't like using other males and he defaulted back to Ash. Besides, If Anime Ash decided that becoming a Pokemon Master meant to befriend every pokemon in the world, it makes sense that Kousaka Ash's purpose as a Po⬤mon Master is to "befriend" every girl in the world XD

actually kousaka didnt focus in ash for many years, using brock and some yuri most part of the time, it was not until XY when he started to use ash and making him officially his MC. the reason because he is still using ash is probably make nobody gaves a damn about horizon male characters, they will be forgotten while ash will be always the face pf pokemon
