The term "carnivore" is actually itself a loan from 肉食系, and has some nuanced differences from what is implied by just 逆ナン (reverse pick-up).
"Carnivore" usually indicates a person who actively pursues their their "target" (in all kinds of competitive scenarios, from fame and fortune to love life and sex) and will make moves to seek it out. This would usually indicate a girl who is confident and even has a bit of a tomboy-ish attitude. (I'm sure plenty of characters come to mind from this kind of description)

Which means this doesn't entirely match the landmine archetype, where the characters are actually quite insecure inside and thus _make a show of_ being very possessive and eager.
(This is also how the landmine archetype differs from yandere: while the former may make a public show of being possessive, they are more interested in the "show" aspect rather than who their partner is and like the story, will happily change their alignment as needed; while a yandere is usually a singular obsessive-possessive, even though they may not always apparently show it on the outside.)

FWIW, there are actually a few inaccuracies in the translation... E.g. the Twitter replies to her post are much harsher in P4, and should be:

The CN translation on EH doesn't seem to have any large mistakes (it's pretty well done all things considered) and certainly not at a level similar to the one in the prev. version of this TL....
