All of the chapters from this tank are done. The problem is that this chapter is on the x1500 digital tank release and chapter 1 is on an outdated x2238 scanned tank release (which got replaced with the x3000 release, probably because it had ugly watermarks in the corners). Chapters 3-6 are all on the x3000 release, so if you can port ch1 and this one (ch2) to the x3000 release, we're done.

The rules allow us to compile tankoubon releases as long as all of the chapters are based on the same tank scan.

PS I'm curious to see this opencv script. That sounds amazing. There are a few Rocket Monkey tanks we also don't have because the scans we have technically aren't from the tank.

oh, chapter 4 was also on an early scan. Can't the opencv script deal with that too?

I'm pretty sure chapter 3 is more or less accurately translated, but the English in it isn't perfect (when you tl from japanese, things like tense and topic are sometimes ambiguous). For example, on page 1, The gf should be saying "I've always wanted a little sister~" or "I wish I had a little sister~". CGrascal has also removed the all-important japanese tilda that is used to indicate a singsong voice, but frankly these kinds of mistakes are minor.

Most of CGRascal's problems look like ESL shit and aren't nearly as bad as the kind of garbage you see in e.g. fan translations of light novels and web novels. They're also pretty easy to pick out just from context. If you want me to proofread chapter 3, I can do that as long as you can take care of porting the translations between versions.

Welp, guess this has turned into something more than I can do in a short while.
I suppose the script can do that, but it's not foolproof so there's probably some touch-ups required with the help of Photoshop.
However, if you have Python installed on your PC, I'm more than happy to get you up to speed with how I typically port the texts between raw versions using my script below, should you rather do it yourself than waiting if my lazy ass ever get on with doing it.
