Short story time:
One my classmates B was going out with Girl A from the same classroom in HS..
Eventually we found out A was going with C from the other class. We always thought A was cheating on B and both C and B got into fight so confusing even their friends joined, some to fight others to stop it. Some senior who was too buff for his age stopped it but both C and B faces ended up awful and both with a suspension from school.
After a lot of gossiping thanks to A's own girl friends it turns B was the other boy and that C was the boyfriend and B never noticed the was the second option for A. I still recall B crying his bruised eyes out, we tried to cheer him up going out more often along with other boys and girls from the same class, A wasn't invited to for obvious reasons.
She wasn't worth both guys fighting and she even tried to play the victim, still she never got accountable for cheating, she just got away with it besides some scorn from the class.
