That's a hollow opinion. The fact that there's little difference makes whatever value comparisons you want to make between the artworks themselves entirely moot, aside from the fact that one didn't copy off of the other.
Besides, even in their call-out post, it seems like the only thing CSR wanted was to clarify and get people to stop lumping them together.
All that really needs to happen is an apparent change in artstyle, which I'm willing to bet CSR is more capable of than Shexyo, considering one of them at least tries to be original, from what I'm seeing.

Oh yea just change your entire artstyle which your popularity is based on after all these years grinding to where you are now, just that easy! You're the one responsible not the guy who lazily copied your style just to piggyback off your popularity, simply because you're more "capable"! haha lol can we get a one "bitch please" for this guy lmao.

Shexyo's response is pretty weak. A great way to prove your "degenerates" wrong and not make yourself look like a complete asshat simultaneously is by acknowledging similarities in style and not cherry-picking criticism by comparing 2 artworks with completely different style. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence won't fall for this but that's assuming Shexyo is... level-headed enough to see it. I mean your style is so similar that you get mistaken as a CSR clone by almost everyone, that should probably be the first thing you would tackle right? It's a shame because I like both artist's work but if the best Shexyo can come up with is by shamelessly copying CSR's style, then I'm afraid this is not a hard choice in the slightest.

If you are artist you can notice the inconsistencies of style and not only in the face, but the body structure.
if you look at a drawing of robutts you can see the base is the same, in Shexyo's case he has different body types which means he uses different "inspirations".

Robutts looong time, before Shexyo post speedpaints or quick draws in twitter, Shexyo in other hards say he love sketch but he don't show that, or show when the base/body is already done.

The Best Thing Shexyo can do to Stand Out from CSR is to start doing Full Length Comics with what talent they have (allegedly).
If Shex-Mix can really be on CSRs Level, doing 10-20 pages should be No Problem
