This is not my own work but simply a compilation I made of Jirou's 'Mom is Mine', bringing together the best versions we have of the Prologue and the four chapters. The Prologue is machine translated but unfortunately, this is the only English translation we have at the moment. It also has mosaic censorship. However, the four chapters are properly translated by CulturedCommissions (see final page) and are far less censored.

@uploader : At least, don't SAY those cursed word "it's better than nothing at least". Say "i know that some of you like it", something like this.
Why ? Because every SINGLE time there is a machine translation, the same argument comes : "It's better than nothing". And EVERY single time, people comes and say "yes, it's worst than nothing because now nobody will try to translate it, it's now damned forever".

I wasn't even part of that crowd initially ! But there is SO MUCH machine translation today, how did you not see that this argument was used so much ?
Nowadays, there is so much machine translation that i feel lke the golden days are passed unfortunately, newbie like yourself isn't interested into making a group like the old days because the machine translation tools are just there. It's not only hentai; even normal manga can suddenly become unreadable because of that !

It makes me read less and less on the Internet which is a shame i suppose.... Or maybe one day, the machine translation will become so good we won't be able to distinguish them from a normal translation anymore... One can only hope but that's the only possible path at this point... Even people that took the time to show every single mistake don't show up as much as before because they seem tired of doing that extra job when they just wanted to enjoy something they like with others.
So yeah, until machine translation goes magically better, i sincerely prefer just taking the japanese raw or reading old translated hentai i saved years ago, it's THAT MUCH worst than nothing.

I'd say put up a bounty to have the prologue properly translated but it's cuckshit that shouldn't have been to begin with and the actual good story already got the best version made so I don't really care aside from completion's sake. What I'd like to see is someone upload the afterstories from Jirou's Fanbox, there's 4+ short chapters already and more in the way, and the other compilation gallery has 3 pages of it appended to the end.

Here is why a mtl is worse than nothing. What is the point of a translation? To be able to read and understand what the author wrote, yes? A mtl is inherently inaccurate. This inaccuracy defeats the purpose in translating because it does not properly convey the meaning to what the author wrote. Thus in my opinion a mtl is always worse than nothing, because a mtl provides nothing. It has as much value as a rewrite or just looking at the raw.

I can't speak for others, but having [English] in the title and using the English language tag, I expect legible and natural prose. That is to say, someone with adequate knowledge of a different language putting in effort to transcribe to English. Even if such scanlation has meticulous typesetting, that effort is wasted on machine translations. Why? Because no matter how pretty the font is, or how clean the redraw is, the reader can't fathom to read through a slog of head-ache inducing text.
So, next time keep them to yourself, or if you want to help with translating in anyway, hire someone else and do the editing work. You at least did alright on that part.
