I don't understand. Me: I’m making a huge sorted archive of the author, collecting everything from several sources in order to find the best version. I am posting it with an indication of where and what is, attaching a torrent to the full archive with PSD. I get: Score 2.84 Favorites: 192 And all this in almost six months.
Some guy: Uploads content from e621/rule34, not the best versions from kemono, the gallery is not sorted in any way, gets: Score 4.17 Favorited: 123 times And this is in a few days. People, are you blind? How does this stub get more than a full-fledged archive?
Your gallery is sorted chronologically ascending, which means the first people see is also the worst content (assuming most people do agree art skill improves over time with more experience) and people who want to keep up with gallery updates constantly have to make an effort to find it, this is probably part of the reason a lot of imageset uploaders make sure to drop new content at the start when updating their galleries. The sketches you included are also a mixed bag, some people will appreciate your gallery being more complete, but others will consider them to be filler propping up the imagecount.
Tagging might have to do with it as well https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Gallery_Tagging#Presence Anyone finding your gallery through tags that fail this presence requirement will likely not be happy for it; For example, your gallery is currently tagged as c:Blaziken, anyone awho finds your gallery on a tag search for that character specifically would rate your gallery 1/5 and move on because the content for that tag is scattered all over the place and less than 5% of the gallery (out of 25% required for stuff that isn't grouped together).
