I thought these were licensed and released back in the day, but I guess they're pretty much impossible to find now. Maybe I'm thinking of another Urushihara manga.

edit: @Hyper Shinchan: I agree. There's also the chance of awkward translations back then, ones that don't appeal to how we prefer translations these days.

@BluMeino: yep, you're right, a quick research gave results on amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Chirality-Book-1-Satoshi-Urushihara/dp/1562199072/ref=pd_sim_b_3); it has become quite expensive as a new item with its 20$ and apparently it was a shitty flipped release (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chirality_%28manga%29) so a new fan translation is actually more than welcome.
