This series is so... weird. He fattens a given character up and then just drops them. He's done it like 5 times.

Well granted they are all mostly stay apart of the series think of it like JoJo where after the end of that joestar's part it switches to a new one even though the previous one is usually still around just no longer the main focus and araki has done that basically 9 times now
