If you don't like MTL you can get back fapping to ideograms, it's no necessary to be rude. I think this is a good way to understand a bit of those comics that are not ever going to be translated.

I am thinking about a way to implement proofreading in my script, will update when I do. That will become more of a fan translation but at least it won't be so bad.

I posted it for the few that prefer to understand something than nothing. If you, want perfect translation why don't you make them yourself? Nobody is telling you to read this one, for me this is enough to fap better than with nothing.

Dude IF you are going to use a Bot to translate something at least take the time the Proof Read it and correct the mistakes BEFORE you post it!
Right now this work is just unreadable due to the degree of Engrish and bad grammar it makes my head hurt.

A lesson here is that MTL will never pick up on slurred dialogue since that's where I see a lot of "why the hell was this even put into English" places. Another place MTL isn't very good is in consistently recognizing names in the absence of furigana. Furigana is also used as a form of meta in some cases like having the actual text read "sister" but the furigana actually says "cousin". You may end up with sentences that reference "different characters" because the name was interpreted incorrectly and/or inconsistently or in the case of furigana used as meta text wrong relationships.

Like others are saying, you need to proof read or get someone capable to do it if you intend to put out these "translations". Otherwise I think the inconsistency of dialogue will actually become more a hindrance to people looking to get some enjoyment from the content itself than not being able to read what's going on. Because no one wants to keep a boner up seeing a panel where a dick is about to get lodged into a pussy only to see the dialogue read "put your whoopee stick in my ham wallet!"

That makes sense, but trust me it's not been easy to develop a bot that can perform ocr, translation and even impainting.

By now my bot automatically reads the texts and also automatically puts the translation into the balloons.

One improvement will be making the process interactive, so the machine proposes texts and positions and the users will have the opportunity to edit it prior to the placing. Proposed texts and proofread texts can then be used to train the MTL model even more, and adapt the model to vulgarity and hentai.
Vulgarity and pronouns are now the major problems: it hardly detects speakers and has a very hard time with bad language.

On top of being on fringes of the web, people here are just genuinely passionate about doujinshi. They are here for art, made by humans, for humans.

This place is basically the library of alexandria for hentai. Despite the admins' aversion to tough quality control, most users do in fact agree that this website shouldn't just be a dumping ground where we make the pile of translation as tall as possible as quickly as possible. Dozens of websites just scrape directly from here. This is the nexus, the spine, the central hub of doujinshi translations. When you throw a half-baked MTL up here without proofreading, it gets sent everywhere else automatically. This shouldn't be treated as a test facility.

Even if it's an MTL, get someone else to proofread it. It's not a race. Even if you're busy, take your time.
