Same here, this is tagged as a Doujinshi, but it´s an original work, so either Manga or Western, in this case i think Western would be most appropriate as the artists has english comics right from the start, i´m not sure about origin, but other works of Rudy have been tagged Western as well, so stick with that.
The comic itself is not bad, i´m looking forward to how it will develop in further chapters.

This rudysaki person is somewhat misusing the current categorize system, he/she claims to be Thai thus the works should be tagged as Doujinshi not Western and also threatened if works are kept tagged as Western he/she will no longer post here as Western galleries generally not entering users' rader which is bad for ads.

His/her works are obviously very similar to what you expect to see in most Western galleries and yet because he/she claims to be Thai we now have these "Doujinshi" galleries.

I wonder if Jim Lee or Sana Takeda's works will also be tagged as Doujinshi/Manga given their Asian heritages?

Doujinshi doesn't meant non-original work, it means that it's self-published.

Here is what the ehwiki says about doujinshi:
> Any self-published or self-distributed (e.g. via Pixiv) H-manga or pornographic comic utilizing panels and text. Often involves parodies of existing anime, manga, video games, and other recognizable characters or mascots.

And here is what it says about manga:
> Pornographic comics published by a 3rd party. Typically only feature original content. The majority of tankoubons and anthologies are of this category. The category name is a shorthand for "Hentai Manga".

Doujinshi being parodies is merely common, not a requirement for that category.

The distinction I usually draw is between “clearly ESL” and “not clearly ESL.” I put Rudysaki in the former.

Thanks for the lesson in the manga/doujin industry. I was wondering why some original works were being labeled as doujinshi. I was under the same mistaken belief as heretic1311 that it had to be a non-original work.
