"Sorry it took so long to get this rolling again. There were more factors to it than I had previously mentioned, so for those who are interested, I wanted to explain further on the delay:

As we know, the side comics are meant to be a mixture of my own decisions along with Patron participation via polls for aspects of future pages, like how The Gardener was with Waldren and Gary! However, unlike The Gardener, which was already named dubiously canon (and thus could be more ridiculous and flexible), Springing Back is actually canon in relation to the main series. Although I had set the premise and have been trying to include poll participation, I realized that it kept steering me into corners. Mark's narrative matters because of his role in the main story, so it severely limits the ability for readers to steer the ship. Aside from the time-crunch and just being busier than expected in 2023, I was also unaware that this is what I was struggling with in picking the comic back up (I thought I was just having some intense writer's block lol).

I realized that this mixture of step-by-step improv wasn't going to function well for this particular comic, so I had to spend some time hyper-focusing and writing this one out. Fortunately, it gave me a chance to get the story written out and still find pockets of flexibility for reader polls! So, although I cannot make a story poll for every single upcoming page, you'll still see them pop up when the timing is right :3

The tldr;

I kept running into walls doing this comic due to it being too canon for reader-voted plot-points. I have to reduce the amount of story polls, but they will still be in there in certain parts!
