Counterside's still alive? I figured the new origins would've killed it by now since that was when I and a fair portion of other players dropped it. Shame how badly they fucked game up with new origins given how stupidly fun RTA PvP actually was. Also, fuck ASY and her stupid backdash. The number of times she single-handedly won a RTA because I never pulled A.Mina and had no way of reaching her before she mauled everyone to death is way too damn high.

It's "alive", on the same level of niche gacha as other sub 300k monthly revenue games. There hasn't been any new jp voices added because they can't afford them, lol. Also there's too much shit to grind and quartz income has been slashed hard compared to pre-new origin so new players aren't staying. They're rerunning some hololive event right now but it won't help.
They pretty much did everything wrong, from opening SEA before Global instead of just opening Global directly, to new origin, to separating from nexon, while another korean gacha that's similar to it, epic seven, is doing extremely well now, despite once having been on the verge of failing. It sucks, personally I think counterside has some of the best looking 2D and live2D art out there even now, great urban fantasy aesthetic and good story with a good protagonist. I only play it for story nowadays because fuck everything else, also I got 0 hype to roll for all those new characters who are completely mute unless you take the kr voice pill.
