Jenny has gotten herself dolled up, prepared to apologize for bailing on Slippy, and maybe picking up where they left off, since the green shortstack's been occupying much of her thoughts between hunky boy railing sessions.
However, Slippy is NOT going into this battle unarmed: but he's at least giving Jenny a chance to explain herself a bit. Which is great, because I think she's got some grovelling to do...
Well, Slippy sure isn't being the pathetic mess he was made out to be, that's for sure. He knows he got used and abused, and he's not willing to let it happen again. Though, points to him for being willing to hear Jenny out. I'd have blocked her the moment she tried to contact me.
All that said, if I remember my old cartoon lore correctly, Jenny had valid reasoning for not liking frogs and toads in the actual cartoon, so I can't entirely hold her in contempt. Bigotry, especially bigotry brought on through war, isn't something you can just take off like a hat. But she's willing to work at it, to make herself better, and that's a point in her favor.
