I don't have a problem with galleries like this being uploaded, this particular gallery is just very strange to me.
It's an incomplete copy of a gallery with subject matter almost completely unrelated to this site.
I could understand it if the art was endangered; like if the artist said they were going to delete all their accounts in a few days or something, but otherwise it just feels kinda pointless.
If all you care about is archiving you might as well just hit the original gallery with the Wayback Machine so you preserve the original comments and context.
