Original Description:
A complete scan of the Initial D Art Book (also given the subtitles "Shuichi Shigeno Artwork" and "Young Magazine Special Edition"). This book released in 2001 and cost 2800 yen for the standard edition, with the special boxes edition costing more.
The book contains much of Shigeno's artwork for the series up to point of release (which would have been around the battles with the Northern Saitama Alliance), along with some extras including a several page interview with Shigeno, a look at merchandise for the series, and the cover pages of certain chapters. Each piece of art is given a short review by Shigeno himself, usually with a number score.
Page 51 is reflective, and as such appears a lot darker here than it does in the actual book.
The cover art shown is of the Special Edition release, while the scan is of a standard edition copy. The contents of these two releases is identical, but the Special Edition cover features a gold/bronze logo, while the standard edition has it in silver. I've also included a full scan of the slip cover and the inner cover.

I wish I appreciated cars when I was younger when this show was still on the air.
