Yes, at this point any translation that has mix up gender, is machine translate,
jp, china, kr do not use gender indicator "he/she" for most of the time because it base on context,
by context reader would know this is a male character so they would understand it as "he"
but machine translate only "see" the text put in (usually 1sentence) lack any context.

so machine don't know the context would slap whatever on and most of the time it become get gender swap.

how do you even typo "his" to "her"?

"i" is at other side of the keyboard to "e" separate by 4 keys

"s" is separate to "r" by two keys,

you cannot fat finger those key to make it typo.

typo in your head? can't different "his" to "her" so type down "her" and keep reading it as "his"? ok fine. it just mean your head is fuck, can't recognize male and female.

so i would think at this years (from 2022) people just mtl then see if there is any red ~~ under word to "fix" mtl mistake,

"loves her big sis" is not wrong in grammar so no grammar checker (not just spell checker) would flag it as wrong grammar, so this kind of "typo" would pop up all over mtl work even when those work has "QC".

So yes, at this years, any one has simple mistake as swap "his" to "her" or "her" to "his" is mtl edit mistake at release to me.
