A short and inferior potato1919-like summary of the story

Prince Amr is to becomes a king after his fathers death. One of the requirements for a succession is to marry a priestess. Amr and the priestess Aisha enjoy each anothers company but before they can marry, Amr's exiled brother returns and deposes him. He then promptly imprisons his brother and gives him an ultimatum: recover Dragon Gem from a family vault or die. Only someone of the royal blood can enter and so Amr has to go alone while Aisha is to become his brothers wife. Amr shares ones last night with Aisha and then travels to a village not far away from the vault. There he lives while challanging the vault each day. Inside of the vault he is confronted by a ghost that claims he is not worthy to be a king. He then shows Amr visions of his brother educating Aisha in her new duties. She is at first reluctant to have sex with Lawrence, but as time goes on she accepts her new duties. She is to be a queen of continence for Lawrence as he already has someone he loves; a green haired prostitute that helped him in his exile. In the mean time nobles of the kingdom rebel and a civil war erupts. from now on Lawrence will use Aisha as an envoy to gain support and to turn rebelling nobles against each another. As no one is willing to support Amr, he pursuits the only thing he can; the dragon gem. Once it is in his hands, he finds out he does not know what to do with it. The visions of Aisha end and he is forced to run away from his brother’s men. He jumps into a river and later is saved by an prostitute Odette. She helps him to regain confidence in himself (in more way then one) while he tries to figure out how to save Aisha. Amr then travels the continent gaining support for himself while dodging constant assassination attempts. He joins forces with a young mercenary (Who later turns out to be a brother of the prostitute Lawrence is in love with) and an infamous strategist who believes power is everything (And falls in love with Amr because he is the only one to praise her strategy. They sleep together a couple of times but Amr does not return her feelings. She does not seem to mind that much.). Through the journey Odette uses her body to gain favor for Amr while he slowly accept that this is how the world is. With no idea what is the gem good for he choses to sell it to the Empire beyond the sea for a military support. He gains a boat from his childhood friend who is also a king and sails to the empire. On the sea they run into a sunken boat and save a princess from its wreckage. She too shares the same fate as Aisha and is to become a concubine to the Emperor in exchange for a peace between their nation. She has accepted her fate and even forsaken her lover for the kingdom's sake. When they reach the Empire they find out it is a corrupt place where every young woman is forced into the Emperors harem. Odette joins the harem to investigate. She finds out The Emperor is a fake and Aisha is there as well to gain his support. Amr joins a civil war in the Empire and together with a very young but legitimate Emperor's son they infiltrate the royal palace. There the real emperor shows himself up and says this was all done to test the empire's nobles. The fake emperor is stoned to death and Amr get to meet Aisha. They sleep together but Aisha tells him she will return to Lawrence as he is now the king and she accepted her role as a Queen. She wishes him good luck in his war but also tells him that if he loses she won't beg for his life. They separate and Amr gives the dragon gem to the real Emperor. In return he is given a military support to take over his old Kingdom. Amr returns as an invader and crushes all opposition with his new army. Once all is done Amr faces his brother one last time. Lawrence says he never wanted to kill Amr but he also did not thought Amr was resolute enough to become a king. All of this was a chance for Amr to become a man worthy of a king and that what he did to Aisha is just how a small kingdom must operate to keep its freedom. Amr can then either kill Lawrence or let him live. After that a short Epilogue plays and the game ends.
