Do people actually pay for this stuff?

I'm being absolutely serious. Even if you have a specific fetish for breast expansion or weight gain, there is so much other content that is done so much better.

Looking at the artist's Patreon, he has 27 members and is pulling in $42.30 per month (as I write this). Sure, it's nice to make a little money off of your hobbies, but at a minimum wage of $15 per hour, just managing the Patreon doesn't pay for itself. Posting content, responding to member queries, maintaining the account, paying taxes on the income (very close to the $600 threshold for reporting)… it all takes time.

The artist would actually be further ahead if he made this stuff for his own enjoyment, shared it for free, and then had a side hustle doing something else.

A lot of artists hope they will strike it 'big' (barely paying the bills) with a comic series similar to the trash Kip puts out. Most fail. It's like YouTube- for every even moderately-successful channel, there are a thousand attempting the same thing and failing.
