Initially I was wondering if this was a digital "reprint" of an older doujin but, looking at the artist's other stuff on here, it looks like that's just their art style after all.

Basically I was just yesterday looking at some works that were specifically imitating Takashi Takeuchi's style used for CGs in their various 2000s "Nasuverse" visual novels (see also: my username), and Rui's head/face in general on pages 8 and 9 could have easily came straight out of the Fate/stay night visual novel for example (there's at least one Rin Tohsaka character sprite and the UBW "good end" CG that comes to mind for specifically page 8).
