@touhoufanatic cotrans.touhou.ai is what I use, from there you can probably find what you’re looking for.
That said… yeah there’s a reason why I don’t upload that stuff to what’s *supposed to be* a public library of sorts. So… use responsibly and all that.

This is probably best case use for machine translations. Something really long that has gone years without a translation and no one has shown interest in translating it. Like its shitty but there sadly reaches a point that its better than several more years of just hoping someone does something with it.

The AI typesetting is much worse than the translation. Hate the black text in dark backgrounds and the random tiny font size.
If this had proper typesetting it would be mostly fine.

This site seems to have an endless cycle of:

-someone does english MTL
-post gets downvoted to oblivion, as well as comments defending it
-no one posts a proper translation so the MTL can never get expunged.

The issue comes down to that people decided that instead of doing translations for fun and practice, they should be paid for it. Which would normally be fine but these are the same people who claim you should support the artist. But they're making profit off the artist's work, and aren't shy about it either.

Or you have like that one guy who claimed he got the artist's permission to do translations and was giving a percentage of the profits back to him...but when you ask the artist he has no idea who that person is.

Back in the day, we had translations by people who just wanted to practice and share with everyone. Somewhere in the last ten years we've gone from that to everyone has to have their cut for shit they don't even own.

I hate the AI art because it's hundreds of the same image, poorly done, and really is theft. The AI translations, though, I think are fine for stuff no one has touched in years. Because the chances of that getting done are slim to none.

And before people say "just commission someone to do it"...tried. Told me they wouldn't do it. So fuck em. They don't want my money, I'll go the easy route.
