A criticism journal that acts more like a coterie magazine focused on Sunrise works with smatterings of other anime, such as Ultraman, Space Battleship Yamato and Tekkaman. Published by the novelist Kiyoshi Shigematsu (billed as Kiyoto Shigematsu / 重松清登) and Andō Yasuhito (安藤康人 / Yasuto Ando), this book features a variety of unlikely sources and individuals sharing their opinions on Gundam nearly 3 years after its air date. Many of the criticisms are humorous yet a bit serious in regards to the characters, themes and concepts of Mecha and SF.
Additional collaborators are the Mercurius (めるくりゅーす), Makoto Sawai (possibly the same musician of the same name, 澤井誠) and the SF novelist Yukinari Sahashi (佐橋幸成), who allegedly helped write scenarios at Sunrise.
Published March 16th of 1982, this more than likely was a FC journal for college age students, though there are no membership fees mentioned. This is a preparatory issue for what would become vol. 1 of Proto proper, showing what sorts of offerings would be released to get interest up more than likely. Some sources state that this circle was called 'Dream' or 'Domu (憧夢)'.
