Yeah, Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja was an fun show, being created by the same guy who made Invader Zim. Funny enough, your comment is not far off, since the creators commented that the girl here, Theresa, was slowly being positioned to be Randy's love interest and a plot thread to explore. It just never happened due to the changing/late time slots and the lack of audience numbers.
