So a little speculation to spice up the wait: when Hinako is with the informant and she is whispering about how "back in the day" she knew this "tall and hot guy" and some secret they had together.
There are not many that could fit that description. To me the dandy playboy of the very first episodes comes to mind as specially tall. But Hinako never got to actually do something with him... right? Could this be a hint in that direction?

A bit of a forced speculation I know, it would be interesting to see how she words it in the original. Fingers crossed the series pick up again.
