A rare, Braiger meets Baxinger BL/yaoi doujnshi by Maya Kaoru (まやかおる個). The artists' whereabouts and activities are unknown, and given the colophon, this book was published June 23rd of 1985. This work ended up at Comiket 28 by August of that year by information stated near the end:
"Nice to meet you, or it's been a while. My name is Maya Kaoru. Thank you very much for picking up "Midnight Sun". ○○ It's been five months since I made "The Dawn Moon", and I'm finally going to be able to make a new book. "The Dawn Moon" wasn't even something that could be called a book, so this is the first genuine book I've ever made. It turned out to be a book made out of depression after all. It's a book I couldn't help but make because I was so depressed.
I'm not a very active person, so in the end, depression seems to be the most effective driving force for me. It's pathetic, isn't it? It sounds heavy when I write it like that, but it's not a book that I'm trying to project my depression onto. I hope you find it at least a little interesting. Oh, and as for why this book is a kind of personal magazine, I originally thought that a book made out of depression wouldn't attract people, so I just wanted to publish it very personally. But then someone said to me, "Well, then why don't you write something for me?" And it wasn't just one person. I was really happy ♡♡♡
But then, it would be presumptuous to make a personal magazine, so it's a knock-off (because it would be presumptuous after all). Well, anyway, that's the kind of book it is. In fact, I'm still drawing these rough sketches, the manuscript (of course, mine) isn't all finished. So, what kind of book will it be...? Well, here you go♡♡♡ I don't want to give up... I still have faith, so how about us?"

Additionals:
The artist states that she was roommates with a Taka Nomura (野村鷹くん), who helped Maya organize the doujinshi and was a fan of Ypsilon from Armored Trooper Votoms. Maya also states that a Saegusa Haruka (枝草遙先生) wrote a bit for the book itself but was a "perverted shotacon" as well.
The title follows a particular lyric from a song:
"Even if the person I trusted leaves and the blood flows from my heart, I will always remain the same, I am me. Burn, my sun, don't let that fire go out. Burn, my life, redden it, melt away the sorrow. (From "Midnight Sun" by Hiroko Taniyama)"
Who keeps rating your stuff low? Is it ‘ew yaoi’ straight boys or is it picky yaoi readers who expect fully polished modern circle production standards doujinshi?
@MechLover its alright, I am not here for the ratings in general, I'm just sharing my collection/history for those who want to see it. If they want the latter, they know where to look (and I've posted plenty of it). Thanks for visiting!
