The story was never very good. It's clear that he always realized that nobody reads these for the storyline. Which pisses me off, to be honest. Kinda a let down...it's clear that Naylor is an artist...not a story teller.

seriously this is utterly stupid. This has been going on in secret for months and the king, nor any of his soldiers or guards in the castle realized the change in the behaviors of the queen or any of the other members of the castles female populations. Naylor is expecting us to believe that every woman would capitulate entirely to lust, many indoctrinated souls have killed themselves instead of leaving their beliefs (especially when it comes to religion and we are to believe that this woman is a champion of her goddess.) Not only are the wolves in a village which has terrain wildly different from that of a forest (no heavy foliage to cover retreats in, also a city is a much easier target for bombardment meaning that they have none of the defenses afforded by a jungle) they also use weaponry that is equivalent to that of native americans and are fighting against a kingdom that has access to iron weapons and armor along with catapults and it is fairly safe to assume that they have access to other siege weaponry. Not only are the wolves on terrain they aren't used to (no trees to climb for ambushes, the village is likely located in a wide, empty expanse devoid of cover outside of the castle itself, etc.) but they are facing against technology specifically designed to attack and defeat the defenses of villages typical in that time. There is also the problem of the large number of soldiers likely left to defend the capital itself who are both, far better equipped than the wolves and far more accustomed to fighting in the environment of the castle/village. It is simply ridiculous to believe that the wolves have even a small chance of winning. I hope that the next issue either covers the reclamation of the capital by the king or the bombardment of the castle from afar, either way the queen dies for high treason and betraying her countrymen.

Also... why didn't the king order the forest burned down in order to flush out the wolves in the first place, it would be a fairly typical combat tactic that is never even explored... oh wait plot armor... that explains it.

apart from that though great porn, would've been better if it didn't have a script.

I don't know why but when I read pg.8 I assumed since they could turn males into females that the paladin was going to become a male wolf then get fucked by the ex queen and Red riddling hood and the paladin would end up either as part of the army or combat instructor.
