Calling it a knockoff is doing it a favor. The build-up and delivery of the evil fall is garbage and of course it isn't continued in the 3rd volume. Instead you need to read through 35 pages of flashback scenes which should have been in this part before you get to see the actual meat of the story again. Spent way to much panel time trying to build up the "I'm a boy, but magically because who fucking knows how - I can turn into a girl" and it completely botched Seren's evil fall. I don't care if Satou wants to draw TS characters, but his dancing around and pretending like nobody saw it coming and using it as the main reason Seren gives up is so retarded and took up way too many pages. The dialogue is also a lot worse than I thought and really doesn't do the story any favors at all. The art is amazing and the designs and outfits are awesome, but that's about the only praise this story should get. "My Wife" IMAGINE THAT, little boy that turns into a girl IMAGINE THAT, Seren has a sister who will also turn out to be a magical girl and get corrupted IMAGE THAT! It's almost like Satou can only tell one story

I think Satou Kuuki was not satisfied with Aisei Tenshi Love Mary so he drew Vanishing Reality.
I think he wanted a series: Betrayal + Corruption + Gender Change + Magical Girl + NTR but these elements in Aisei Tenshi Love Mary except Corruption and Magical Girl are quite bland.

In Aisei Tenshi Love Mary: the relationship between Akari and Yudzu is not lovers and is quite vague, Elysium is just a tentacle monster with no dialogue so Betrayal and NTR are quite bland. About: Gender Change, most of the time Yudzu is raped as a boy, the gender change only happens in a few pages and the impression is low because Yudzu is completely corrupted.
In Vanishing Reality, Satou Kuuki spends time developing the relationship between Selen and Kaoru into lovers. Zomer is a smart monster and uses Kaoru's cousin's body. Kaoru's cousin is someone Kaoru trusts. About: Gender Change: Kaoru turns female before being raped and corrupted; Satou Kuuki focuses most of chapter 3 on this.

Seren is transformed for 1 scene in the previous chapter and in this chapter you only get to see her as Lumiphonia for 7 pathetic pages and then it's more flashback garbage which is Satou's cruch throughout all of his work. We are led to believe that it took SIX FUCKING MONTHS to corrupt Seren but all we get to see is the initial capture scene in part one - 7 pages here - and then a lame ass finger bang scene which immediately translates into her evil fall scene?! Like seriously? That did it for you? 2 scenes and a flashback garbage scene to justify a Heroines evil fall?

Satou spends all his time re describing the scenario -> just so he can do the NTR cuck IDOL route with the loser's cousin. He wastes panel time in this part just so he can set up the - get this - FLASHBACK SCENES in part 3 to show what Seren was doing over the SIX MONTHS. SHE HAS ALREADY FALLEN TO EVIL IN PART 2 WHY THE HELL WOULD I WANT TO SEE THAT NOW IN PART 3? Remember the part in chapter three where she says "lift the ban on raw sex" Huh... did any of you see her using a condom with zomer in part 1 or 2? Cause I didn't and it literally made no sense. OH YAHHH but it does because of the flashback scenes he forced into part 3 even though they should have been in Part 1 and 2, but he didn't pace the story right.

And then Part 3 - there's almost no panel time dedicated to this character besides the last 10 pages and they are literally panel for panel taken from satous previous idol comics. And we are led to believe that while it took Seren 6 months to be corrupted (none of which we got to see) it's only going to take this loser 1 week?

Sweet baby jesus! You can dislike my opinion on certain parts or downvote my comment, but be honest with yourself.. this comic is garbage. You might get one sad wank out of it.. but nobody is coming back to this comic in the same way you would have for Love Mary. Love Mary is more creative in every single way (monster designs, evil fall scenarios, female villain, monster rebirth, futanari, parasites, etc). The only creative thing satou has done in this work is the Uterus Corruption, but you only see it for like 2 panels and it literally has no relevance otherwise.

I think we should wait for the full translation of the other 2 chapters before judging. Although, I did look at the machine translation of the other 2 chapters and I think he did a better job with a series that focuses on the genres: Betrayal + Corruption + Gender Change + Magical Girl + NTR.
You said 6 months? Where? I don't see any mention of 6 months in the chapter.
You complained about the flashback but Satou Kuuki can't draw too many sex scenes between Selen and Zomer because it would create a sense of overlap and imbalance between the genres that Satou Kuuki wants to aim for.
Besides, you can't differentiate between the flashback and the recorded video. The flashback in chapter 2 is to show that Selen and Zomer had sex many times behind Kaoru's back and led to the event of Selen being corrupted. Chapter 3 is not a flashback but a video recording the sex scenes between Selen and Zomer (in Kaoru's cousin's body) as lovers. Selen forced Kaoru to watch this video.
You also didn't pay attention to the gender change. Kaoru transformed into a girl in chapter 1 and chapter 2, he also used the same power as Selen to transform (although why he had that power is unclear). In chapter 3 Kaoru was forced to transform and was raped, he didn't want to have sex with his cousin. I also don't understand why you said Kaoru wanted to replace Selen. In part 3 Page 9 or 10 when it begins the flashback on the television is says "Approximately 6 months ago" right under where he grabs her butt. The flashback in Chapter 2 was not enough to build up suspense and anticipation for the evil fall. WE THE READER need to feel like the characters personality is changing and being corrupted over time for the evil fall to mean anything. Inserting literally 2 pages to infer they had lots of sex doesn't do jack shit for the reader. And also.. why didn't he draw zomer with a condom if he was going to use it as such a big sell in part 3? (Seems like he didn't have it planned out..) Saying Satou couldn't draw too many sex scenes because it causes an imbalance (with your inferred genres that Satou is apparently going for) is literally ridiculous and you need to take a serious look at every NTR comic ever. Seren having sex with zomer behind Kaoru's back is LITERALLY betrayal + corruption (which is NTR). If you were trying to emphasize the betrayal/ NTR you would show more not less and also show Seren's personality changing over time.

In part 3 the recorded video is literally just a flashback and all of that material would have been better suited in Part 2 to build suspense for the evil fall. Satou needed to make a tweet clarifying what was going on in the scene at the beginning of part 3 because it was really confusing and people weren't understanding what was going on (It is literally a flashback within a flashback that Seren and Kaoru are watching together). Yes it's a recorded video - but to us the reader it is no different than a flashback. Satou then goes from the flashback videos directly into a flashback of what happened after her Evil fall in Part 2. After this.. this story is finally returned to current events and we get the sad excuse for a sex scene between Kaoru and Zomer. Yes I know it was forced - but it's still Male on Male Incest sex and it's really F*cking weird.

I know Kaoru can transform into a girl in part 1,2,and 3 and never said he couldn't. I WAS paying attention and like you said "why he had that power is unclear". Kaoru was built up at the beginning of part 1 to be an Idol that Seren likes and then for some magical reason he can just turn into a girl by the end of part 1? She hadn't even been captured before the end of part 1, so why would her boyfriend need to already know how to transform into a girl to save her? Also, why transform into a girl? How does that benefit Kaoru in any way while he's fighting?? Why keep it a secret for months? None of it literally makes sense and it completely ruins Kaoru's character. I don't care if satou wants to gender bend the character - BUT MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! I never said Kaoru wanted to replace Seren, but the way the story is written it is really easy to infer that. While I don't believe that's what Satou was going for - Kaoru's character is so poorly written that almost none of what he does makes any sense and even without brainwashing how could Seren not infer that herself. I'm pretty sure if I was a girl and had a boyfriend who decided to transform into into a girl that looks and acts just like me I wouldn't need to be brainwashed to be weirded the f*ck out.

I just feel a bit defeated because it been like 10 years since LOVE MARY and artists are supposed to get better not worse. Everything about this comic besides the **IDEA OF IT** and the art is absolute garbage. There is definitely a version of this comic that could have been made that is light years beyond what we got. I think Seren is really sexy and had crazy potential, the mixed reality stuff is fun and there was a lot of potential for other things - but none of it got realized in the capacity that it should have been. I'm pretty sure satou stated that the series is only going to be 4 parts. If you are trying to surpass the only good independent work you've ever made *Love Mary* (He's made other good works with PINPOINT, etc but that was because other people wrote the stories and scenarios. Satou just drew the art because it's apparently all he's good at) why would you write a story half as long and littered with unrealized potential?
