Can't hate any character here, MC was just safe with the status quo and the warnings didn't ring strong enough for him, Chikage was looking for love and found it from someone who looked back at her. And the MC's father wasn't some cartoonish twirling mustache villain that hentai stories use to show hating on his own son for the heck of it, he felt attracted to the girl and made sure she free to take and took his time bonding with her and even sought for the blessing of his son for him and his soon to be wife (which the son approved btw).
