I have had these scanned for the longest, at least around late 2023 to even 2024 proper. I acquired these from an individual who worked at Kodansha around the time that F91 was released in theaters, in particular, around 1991. These pieces are no longer in my possession and were actually bought back/sent back to the individual due to some legalities surrounding their estate and who they were intended to go to (I complied), so at present, these are the best scans I was able to do. I was not given permission to disclose their name, etc. or further affiliation. After some struggling / bartering upon their return and my scanning, I was given the go ahead to publish them. I have reached out several times to ask to rescan them, but due to tariffs and other disagreements, I am unsure as to when shipment can occur. When possible, I will re-upload them in better quality with my 4K/HD document scanner (this can go up to 2500 DPI).

With that said, this is an incomplete set of 9 x 10 inch photographic scans turned to CMYK offset prints of Yoshiyuki Tomino's real boards for F91 Gundam. These can be found in several publications, be it newspapers, art books and posters, and more than likely, these were a part of a press package or to show to Sotsu's advertisement agency (I have published several documents/galleries with similar works for 0079 and Genma Taisen, so I am familiar with the layout). I am unsure if there were more boards printed, though surely there were, but these are all I had on hand.

------------------------

Additionals:

The original cardboard was destroyed/in bad shape (stains to the white backing), so I edited these boards as found to preserve the clarity. Tomino drafted the originals in watercolor, gouache and graphite. In future publications, there are handwritten notes - these do not have them oddly enough. I am not certain how or in what capacity these were genuinely used for. The storyboards were officially first drafted in their inception around May of 1990, however, F91 had been in development during 1989 as Yasuhiko's earliest setting documents hail from that period (I have proof and confirmation).

Page 1 is a sheet of paper xeroxed that came with it that is not mounted, but was a cover sheet. There is information written on the back that I was asked to redact should I publish them. Scanned at 1200 DPI.

If you're going to lie, at least do a better job at trying to remove the crease from the foldout poster you clearly scanned these from. You're missing details in the artwork from your poor cloning attempt at the surrounding pixels. Your beam flag is all jacked up and you completely removed part of suit below that, not to mention jacked up the thruster area on the Space Ark and the birds that were flying in front of it. You also left part of Tomino's pen notes on the margin of the beam flag. There's also clear signs you tried cropping out the border from that same poster. Before and try and claim you didn't, the evidence speaks for itself: https://www.gundamunofficial.com/production/gundamf91/04b_gundamf91_tomino_imageboards1.jpg

I have never had access to these posters or any like it, I was given the documents as found. These were probably proofs meant for this very poster, that would make a lot of sense considering. None of my scans have any of these creases and these look very small. Thanks for sharing all the same, if I can ever get them back in my possession, I'll upload them in better quality. Thanks for the link! I've never seen the others. Do you know what book this was included in? Newtype? Animage?

The very same Kodansha F91 book you supposedly "scanned." Again, as I stated, there is no viable way that your supposed "proofs" have BLATENT photoshop makes on it that indicate you removed a crease from them. Either you got bilked hardcore when you initially got them or IDK what. As I said, the scans you uploaded here have clearly photoshopped crease lines removed. All you have to do it look at the cover and you can see it cutting straight through the title. That cannot be how you were provided the originals, I'm sorry.

Please read the original information:

"With that said, this is an incomplete set of 9 x 10 inch photographic scans turned to CMYK offset prints of Yoshiyuki Tomino's real boards for F91 Gundam." These are not the original watercolors as they are drafted on storyboarding sheets and were displayed at Tomino's retrospective. If I had the others, this would not be an incomplete set, I'd had simply uploaded them lol.

If you "idk what", you probably shouldn't assume to begin with. Just a thought. I never have had access to the originals whatsoever considering that they are stored with Sotsu and art agencies. Lmao.
