Here's the thing why most users here don't block tags. Due to the very good and few netorare mangas that uses that story to its advantage.

There is a NTR manga on this site that has the main male lead deal with his lover constantly getting taken away from him. Yet due to having a phone app that let's redo the day upon his own death. He basically pulls a Re/Zero against all those that attempts to steal her from him. That list includes, their teacher, principal, school bully, his little brother, and if I recall right, her very uncle too. Its a good read, yet if you blocked the NTR tag, you would've been able to read it.

There is another comic here, with a girl and guy who learns that theirs own partners are cheating on them, with each other. So the pair then turn on them and become an even better couple, with kids too.

Hell, there is an incest Manga in which the main guy loses his GF to their boss at the office. Upon hearing that, his older sister seduces her brother to make him feel better. I don't remember much after that. Yet I think there is even a moment that the boss attempts to rape the older sister, only for the brother to not only defend her. He also calls out the ex on her own bulletin.

There more stories like these, they just uses some unlikable tags. So that's why they don't block the tags. Since it becomes like a gacha roulette of whether the story is going to be good or not.

It just there are a lot of bad NTR tales compared to the good. Wish there was a Anti-NTR tag.

Asakawa summer redo ( which got removed from here btw ) , is a story with NTR element in which the FMC already have fiance and her mother still got the husband but the bull stole both the mother and sisters .Or Makinosaka Shinichi Sex Friend series in which the black hair girl who is the fiance to the small dick boi already fall head over heel for the big dick bull . Nakajima Yuka Hitozuma Osananajimi have the housewife stolen by her childhood friend .Ichinomiya Yuu NTR have the usual girl for big dick but with a twist that is a bull plot to get revenge at her . Hell even Kurosu Gatari BBC NTR is good . A decent plot and character build up can enhance the NTR element and make the work feel a bit more unique compare to the rest that is flooding everywhere with the same set up that you already see somewhere else . It is like eating instant noodle and ramen noodle , both are noodle but one is objectively just better while the other is cheaply available everywhere .

We don't hate NTR as a whole , but after eating the same story and same set up for decades with half of our brain turn off , we want something better , more refine NTR . Artist can deliver it but they choose the safest route which easily appeal NTR newcomer who mostly in for the art .

@kampfer91 That’s exactly it! Netorare isn’t necessarily bad, it’s just that most people who write it are. These days, they rely entirely on the art and nothing else. You get absurd plots, characters that are all dumb except for douche with the giant dick…

We’ve reached a point where if an author takes even the slightest risk, like not making the douche/bad guy win, or not corrupting the FMC, it’s enough to turn a generic netorare story we’ve seen a thousand times in a week into something ‘unique’ and actually good.

Take the latest Great Mosu work, whether you’re a fan or not is subjective, but personally, I respect the fact that he didn’t completely make Bull win in the end (even if apparently the full version will have both a netorase ending and a full netorare ending). I would’ve preferred a true ‘vanilla’ ending and a ‘netorare’ ending.

Anyway, all that to say, the genre itself isn’t the problem, it’s the people writing it. In my humble opinion, most authors aren’t even real fans of netorare, it’s just the genre that gets the most attention, so they all try to cash in on it… which, ngl, is understandable
