Fantastic. The action felt like it was over too soon, but I wouldn't sacrifice any of that delicious buildup. It just deserved another hundred pages to see them shed away more of their fears and hesitation about the taboo and about the worry of disappointing each other within their roles of mother and son. It ended just when they confirmed they can feel safe in starting the rest of their lives with this new dynamic in the relationship. Fingers crossed for a sequel for them to really harvest the fruits of that newfound confidence about each other.

Another fantastic work by this author; it's truly one of my current favorites. I appreciate it when authors build a backstory before the action begins, and this author mentions that he's wanted to write this mother-son story for some time and would like to continue it. I just hope it sells well and encourages the author to continue the story.
