Similar to some of their previous works, that bastard challenges the MC to a showdown, and unexpectedly, the FMC chooses the MC. I really like this kind of trope. It's also great that the MC has multiple scenes and his being her first time. Honestly, for this genre, this trope is pretty decent, though it’d be even better if there was a route to avoid these crises entirely.
