Very little overall about this really changes by having Sakihama be intersex that couldn't be achieved with the typical "tomboy-wears-a-dress" story. But you know what? This might be a hot take but I think that works in favor of this as a vanilla work. Sakihama's circumstances are just treated casually as a state of being no different from one's hair color for example rather than as a focal point of exploring a fetish, in spite of that little panel in the translator's notes at the end.

That was adorable... and yeah, it was a unique situation, but it never felt aggresively in your face. It was just the way she was and felt at first and from there it just moved on. A normal "vanilla" encounter ... and very adorable.
