I'm pretty sure they can make it harder to read. But if they won't put in the effort to make the text legible, I doubt they would put in the work to make it less legible.
Note to aspiring comic artists: You want to make comics? Fine. Just put as much into the text as you do with the drawing. The best-drawn and best-written comics aren't worth shit unless people can actually read and know what the fuck is going on.

id say its obvious to tell whats going on lol.yes the text compared to the rest is difficult. like the artist and love the extremely large proportions, but text is important.

I can read it just fine, but it may have to do with how much of this artist's work I've read before. Scary, isn't it?
