An exceedingly rare, early zine that was once managed by mangaka and animator Kenichi Sonoda when he was still in high school. This work is a very cheaply printed copybook and was heavily aged, however, many of the works are surveys on mecha works and general thoughts on a variety of SF topics. Kenichi writes a bit about L-Gaim in particular. The circle name is a play off of their actual school, Kyoto Prefectural Industrial High School, where Industrial is 'Ishihara' for the vision test.
There is an advertisement for Hobby Shop Wing, which would become Hobby Shop Musasiya, where Kenichi Sonoda worked. As noted by its bylines, it was a place where "Science fiction and anime enthusiasts, collectors, and hobbyists" could meet. Aside from being a meet up spot for the club and otaku, Hobby Shop Wing offered a unique service in which they would freely copy or swapping anime videotapes with fans and by fans. Vtol is mentioned in this imprint, cementing Sonoda's involvement as an organizer. This particular issue seems to have been published on December 3rd of 1984. An offer for a Yoko Asagiri garage kit, noted to be a GSX-R model with an estimated price ¥5000, would be given out to a member of the fan club if recruitment numbers went up and more people participated. Sonoda more than likely got it from Hobby Shop Wing / Musasiya.
