A reimagining of the Good Ending path from the masterpiece that is Shadow Hearts (2001).

In this reimagining, The Witch from Kin No Tori (1987) is included as a key character, and she fits well on why she is involved in this reimagining, due to what her motives in the fairy tale and movie adaptation she is from are.

I got the idea by reading Devilman Grimoire, a remake of the OG Devilman, wherein the love interest has much more of a proactive role instead of being just a moral puppy to the hero.
