Hmm, Yui proposes they meet again after this quick encounter, one last time before she leaves; Wataru can feel a heavy air around Yui, yes, it is similar to something he felt when they were younger, they had this carnal relationship in which Yui seemed to carry a burden she wanted to share with someone but she never opened herself completely to Wataru, but he doesn't blame her, he feels it was something within him that lacked what Yui needed to truly confide him, he harbored recurrent doubts over he truly felt about Yui back then, especially after she asked him about love.

Wataru knows exactly what he is getting into, Yui was coy about it but she was proposing a one-night stand, his mind is running all over the place with his trouble at getting his photography business going, his feelings of inadequacy over having such a pretty and successful girlfriend he cannot please sexually lately; then Yui comes back after so long, Wataru's desires are running wild, it is Yui that is getting his sex drive running again, he can't help but to cave in, Wataru and Yui have their night together, with Yui doing all she can to rid Wataru of his current negative thoughts and troubles, to just focus on her now, Wataru does at it, harder than ever, he is having sex after so long, he tries to hold himself back from letting himself go inside Yui since they are doing it without a condom but Yui reassures him if is all right, they won't be together again after that once the morning comes so Wataru is free to enjoy it fully, without worries.

The day afterwards Wataru wakes up alone, yes Yui was true to her word, this was just a one-time thing to take Wataru's mind of his worries in hopes of getting his good mood back; indeed, Wataru feels a little better, it's like Yui removed one weight off his back but also some guilt fills Wataru's mind, there's no other way to describe this, he has cheated on his girlfriend Minato, again his mind wander towards what Yui once told him, this sex between people who don't show real love towards each other, what it means? This is it, Wataru and Minatu meet at a quick notice to have a heart-to-heart, Wataru knows he can't let his girlfriend hanging like this.

Minato tells Wataru she was worried about all of Wataru's current mood being her fault, wondering if her talk about one day having children put some pressure on him, causing Wataru not to he attracted to her anymore, but no, Wataru reassures her this has nothing to do with, he respects her wishes, it is just that his current bad work flow as a photographer, his doubts over feeling he should be around someone so successful and committed to a relationship like Minato, made him feel inadequate, as if unworthy of his girlfriend, with the resulting erectile dysfunction signaling a further confirmation that Wataru is just a wreck that shouldn't sink Minato with him.

No, Minato comforts Wataru, he shouldn't beat himself up like that, she wants him to be healthy, she is there for him, Minato is that serious about their relationship, indeed Wataru says they are having this talk now because he has realized what they have together is something special, Wataru is finally figuring out what love is, that way he won't be sorry for himself around Minato, he wants her to see and feel all of him, if his dick can hard or not, if he wants to think of doing kinkier things to Minato, he wants his beloved girlfriend to see and feel all of him. We cut back to Yui, she is deep thoughts over what has happened with her recently, fully revealing her backstory; Yui has grown in a very unloving household, molding Yui into a person desperate to find real love somewhere else, yes, unfortunately it was something her relationship with Wataru back in the day did not fulfill; but she would later meet a man with a background similar to hers in their adulthood, that man is Eiji Nagisa, a man who was starving for love just like Yui, both wounded people with a past they would rather forget have finally found each other, they were so happy, they wanted to make their own loving home with children to share all that happiness... but it was not to be, soon they found what they had problems conceiving children, Eiji seemed so destitute but chalked up to life just taking you to uncharted territory, but even that wasn't enough, the suffering went further with Eiji suddenly falling extremely ill and so he died, with his final wishes for Yui being she paying back with gratitude those who helped her along the way, someone had to be kind to her in the past, helping her endure, even if just a little, the bad days at home.

That's what Yui did, she meeting Wataru again by chance ended up being the way she could fulfill her husband's final wishes, what Yui truly intended to do was go back to her hometown, to a place no one would truly care so she could end it all, Yui couldn't bear living in a world without Eiji anymore, then she met Wataru again, that was good, Yui smiles and says "there, there", as the little text bubbles with what it seems to be baby speak reveals Yui had a baby, as the scene pans out to the waves at the beach, THE END.

It is nice Wataru and Minato worked out in the end, but Yui man, holy shit, I'm so sad for her, but thankfully with her baby things will look up for her afterwards.

You are right, thanks for correcting me, I can't believe I missed this crucial point at the very end, this makes the ending more hopeful than anything else.
