Yes, Karno is seriously old-school furry. As in "published in issue #1 of Genus because he was an established furry artist," old school.

As for when this comic in particular was done: It started in 2009 with this part done between 2013 and 2018, with part 4 currently in progress but the most recent page was last year. (The writer/commissioner's FA account is still active, but has no statement about the status of the comic.)
