At the appointed place Hikari is surprised to see it in was just another address in the complex she lives in, and what's more the service is provided by the owner? He doesn't try to hide, yes this is a service he provides in his building, he is single, things can get lonely although he remarks that it is surprising how some women don't reject his services, and Hikari is there to do it too, right? Hikari tries to reaffirm herself she isn't, but the man has set his sights on Hikari, calmly presenting his business as something beneficial to married couples actually, he shows Hikari a video of another customer, it is the neighbor wife, yes Tanaka is her name, Hikari is shocked to see Tanaka this lewd with a man other than her husband, the landlord says Tanaka was a sad wife just like Hikari but once she took his services her life has brightened up, she is still married to her husband, seemly affirming her marriage looks more fulfilling now, see, isn't that great? Hikari explodes at Yuto, her frustration with this marriage can't be hidden anymore, she let things get to this point to give Yuto a hint, yet all he does is press her about not cleaning shit, she expected him to show he actually gives a damn, maybe she was feeling unwell, maybe they needed to talk about plenty of other things in their relationship, but no, the master is asking his servant why things aren't being taken care of!

Well, this fully pushes Hikari to the landlord's lap, Hikari doesn't want his services, she wants him like a true lover, Hikari's desperate need for the appreciation Yuto isn't giving her has made her feel the service the landlord provided as real care, and now he is too happy to make Hikari feel she has someone who makes feel seen, thus going beyond his services by professing he does love Hikari as he gives her all the (sexual) attention she needed, Hikari accepts him, saying she loves him too, hoping they keep doing this from now on, to wherever it takes her.

In the end Hikari didn't leave Yuto, no, she just let things go as is, Yuto never became a better husband but Hikari decided he is a convenient source of steadiness so she just lowered her head and went back to do her house chores, allowing this cold marriage to continue, after all she isn't unhappy anymore, that person, the apartment owner, can give her the attention Yuto is not giving, yes, let's keep things this way, thus becoming just like Tanaka, the neighbor wife who also "improved" her marriage by having an affair; THE END.

Anyway, husbands who treat their wives like furniture just because they are the bread winners will always get my disdain, Yuto should've been a more loving and caring, but despite Hikari's outburst having a valid point she became the worse person out of the two by deciding she would not divorce Yuto, willingly keeping him as a "source of stability" while getting fucked on the side, it is too malicious to have your cake and eat it too in that situation.

This story would be better if the landlord didn't looked like someone with high blood pressure and bad knees but with god like stamina and magical dick.
