I'm pretty sure that the previous upload simply plugged the spanish translation into "Koharu" and uploaded the result. The result was even worse than just giving the AI the raws, since as best I can tell the spanish translation is also MTL.
I did my best to handhold/revise the translation: - Made tenses consistent. - Added context the AI couldn't know about. - Made wording consistent. - Un-fucked everyones names and pronouns (Though IDK if the new girls name is right). - If the AI hallucinated in a way that was "obvious" to me, I tried to translate it myself.
I won't claim this to be as good as an actual translator doing it, but it's been years now so I figure this is better than nothing. I am not fluent in Japanese, though I did take four semesters of it in Uni.
If anyone has suggestions/corrections, I'll keep the project files for this around so I can apply them. Thanks!
thank you for not leaving it with just the old terrible translation! the worst effect machine translations could have is discourage people from making a proper one "because it's already translated".

Worlds ahead of the other translation! (Although, I will confess I was impressed by just HOW bad the old translation was.)
As you said in your comment, no glaring errors or mispronunciations. The only comment I could make (and this isn't a compalint, per say, was that at times it seemed a bit... formal? Stilted? in how the dialogue was) Not sure if that's a result of the original script or translation.
8/10
Will happily add to my favorites.
Now if only the author puts out a part 3
