It's heated because there's people with the gall to charge money for commissions of low effort slop.
TL groups usually honor works that are translated first so that they don't step on each other's toes.
If something gets a shit "translation" like this it's not certain that a better group will revisit it later.

People would rather wait for a high quality translation than see good works get this half assed treatment.
