Basically, the extra was an apology from the author because the final chapter wasn’t well received by fans. It turned one husband into a cuck and revealed that his wife had always been faking orgasms with him, turning the story into netorare.
Now it feels like the normal swinging it used to be, basically retconning chapter 3 (author himself acknowledged that the NTR shift wasn’t as well received as he expected, which is pretty dumb because that wasn’t the appeal of the series.)

Hard to write actual good plot when trying to incorporate the overused swinging as an excuse for NTR. Many have done that with better art.

Should have ended with part three. This new entry undermines the entire afterword and the little blurb that the author had written on the second to last page (before the afterword) of the third entry. This retconning won't satisfy an audience that cannot be satisfied anyway, he could have just stuck to his own beliefs and the story he wrote. Bending to kink-based criticism is almost always the way to ruin for creative art. If the author likes NTS to NTR, he should stick to it and not retcon his own artistic journey.

I would like to see both couples working out their relationships for once. Swinging stories that result in a lopsided way is a dime in a dozen. Swinging stories where all parties involved resolve their tensions despite coming close to full infidelity and the swing continues with boundaries respected? Not very common. Somebody have to write these characters as adults for once.
