The sisters Zelena Black and Amaya Black were once human sorceresses, misunderstood geniuses shunned by society. Corrupted by their desire for power and the promise of eternity, they surrendered themselves to the Codex Obscurum, a forbidden grimoire that granted them unlimited power at the cost of their souls. Transformed into demonic entities, they opened the Gates of the Abyss, allowing demons to invade the human world.

🛡️ The Afleck Soldiers
The Afleck Soldiers are not mere common warriors — they are survivors chosen by a sacred artifact known as the Heart of Aflect. This ancient jewel grants superhuman strength, supernatural resilience, and special abilities to those who wield it, but it comes with a steep price: the user must resist the jewel's corruption or be consumed by darkness.

Each soldier is marked with the Symbol of Aflect, a glowing rune that connects them to the sacred jewel. They train in hidden fortresses, far from demonic eyes, waiting for the right moment to strike back.

Well, I'm making some changes to the lore, so some dialogues have been modified and others added. I apologize for the inconvenience.

What has changed?
- Dialogue pages have been added.
- In the English translation, some words have changed context.
- Each character has a color that is more relevant to their personality and role in the story.

🚀 STARTING AFS CH DEVELOPMENT

Unfortunately, many of my ideas have slowly faded over time across my series. Some continued, others were discarded… but one thing that always remained was the idea of keeping all stories interconnected.

Over the past year, things got complicated. It took me a while to stabilize, and I even thought about quitting my job several times. On the other hand, it helped me clear my mind, go out more, and meet new people. Still, I’ve always felt disappointed for not reaching the quality standard I wanted for my stories.

Even now, I still can’t maintain the level I aim for — not even using AI in PADY. And I feel like I’ve neglected my two main series: AFS and The Vampires. I still fall into that pattern of making 1, 2, 3, or 4 pages and then stopping… but even so, every month I release at least a new character or a few pages.

I’m also stuck between posting 1–2 pages per week and feeling like it’s too little… or posting more and feeling like it’s too much. That inconsistency has discouraged me at times.

PADY was an experiment. As I mentioned before, I plan to finish this part next month. So far, it’s been 7 chapters with a lot of buildup — but I still have a lot of content to subtitle, since up to Chapter 2 it was mostly just that.

About PADY: yes, it will continue after August. I plan to resume it at the end of the month, especially since something was introduced in the latest chapter to slow down Bran’s corruption… but I won’t give too many spoilers for Season 1 👀

About AFS: it has become my main focus now. Even though I lost part of the original concept last year, it’s still the project I’m most committed to. One of the biggest challenges was working in 3 languages (PT–EN–ES), and I was even planning to add Chinese — something that, as seen with Queen of Fate, became extremely exhausting. That’s one of the reasons the project was paused.

We also had consistency issues with Gemini, which frustrated Akashimaru, so we switched to GPT.

From now on, AFS will be the main focus. Akashimaru will be working with me during these days. He’s expected to deliver the PADY files by the 17th — he already completed a large part of Chapter 8 — so I’ll have more time to work on AFS and maybe even The Vampires.

For now:

* The Vampires will remain in Portuguese
* AFS will continue in English only

I’ll mark the other language versions as “paused” on E-H. Maybe in the future I’ll bring all translations back.
